Glue curing clamping press
An automobile CD player faceplate is place on the fixture, and a polycarbonate cover is assembled with adhesive. The fixture is manually pushed back under the press head by the operator. As the fixture engages the backstop a switch engages the press cylinder to come down. A pneumatic timer holds the parts during the curing of the adhesive.
